OBAMA ECSTASY: Pills fashioned after president pop up, DEA says

President Barack Obama is known as a charismatic leader, bringing a heady feeling of ecstasy to the hearts of many U.S. voters.

But now scheming drug dealers are now apparently hoping to capitalize on those positive emotions by marketing an Obama Ecstasy pill in numerous states, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The Obama Ecstasy pills, which contain BZP, TFMPP and caffeine, have been recovered in police seizures in North Carolina, Utah, Oklahoma and throughout the southwestern United States, including California, according to the DEA.

The agency has described the Obama pills as a new "trend" in the marketing of the drug.

Ecstasy is traditionally sold in the form of more plain, round pills. But drug dealers are hoping the new line of colorful, shaped pills will bring in a younger --and perhaps more politically aware -- demographic. The Ecstasy pills also include designs resembling Homer and Bart Simpson, Snoopy, Garfield, the Smurfs, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformer Decepticons and Autobots, and Super Mario Brothers' mushrooms.

The mushroom and Garfield pills seized in California also contained meth, DEA agents said.

Thus far, Obama is the only politician to be featured in the new line of drugs.

This is an old thread, but I just wanted to let you in on a secret... Ex has pretty much always been sold like that. I used to do it all the time, and I think out of the 100's of pills I've taken, there have only been a few that do not have something on them. Nikes, dolphins, hearts, Benz symbols, the list goes on. My Daughter is 19 years old, and just told me she knows people who have been taking the white Obama Ecstacy pill here in MD for atleast 6 months. So, I guess they have already made it here..
